The Team

Callista Crafts operates as a nurturing community supporting individual growth and teamwork. This is a brand focusing on the sustainability and endurance of ethical fashion. It employs a total of 40 people, 25 of which in the workshop located in the North of Athens. The team’s structure is based on women artisans that share the same vision and values with our male team members.

The team is inspired by the unmissable flare of Greek traditional craftsmanship and its pairing with a contemporary aesthetic outlook and impeccable execution.

Eleni Konstantinidou

A graduate of the Economic University of Athens with a Master’s degree in Marketing from the Webster University in Geneva is married and a mother of three. Her creative thinking and team spirit have endowed Callista Crafts with a fresh, diverse and inclusive spirit that has turned the company into an living and breathing organism.

Celia Sigalou

Celia graduated from the National Technical University of Athens with a degree in Civil Engineering. She also holds a degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from the American College. She is married and is a mother of two. Her crystal clear strategic thinking and focused leadership skills have given Callista Crafts an impressively forward and bold direction.

STELLA LIZARDI

Stella Lizardi studied Law at the University of Athens but fell into journalism, as Fashion editor for Elle Magazine, editorial and deputy director for Vogue Hellas, editor -in –chief for ΓΥΝΑΙΚΑ and a consultant for special publications. In 2019, she became Artistic Director of the Benaki Museum Pavilion, a concept store where Greek heritage meets the country’s contemporary scene of fashion, design and craftsmanship. She admires Callista’s brand ethics and experimental nature that dictates a passion for creation and an innate love of beauty.

ARTEMIS LIANOU

Athens born Artemis Lianou studied in Deree College and got a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her 33 -year career in the banking sector started in 1987 at the Piraeus shipping branch of Barclays Bank. For the last 20 years she has held the position of Senior Relationship Manager, during which time she completed several seminars and a 2-year course in a Harvard e-learning class. She was the first person that the idea of Callista Crafts was shared with, and it has been love, support and admiration at first glance.

ELENI KARELAS

Eleni Karelas majored in English Literature and Political Science at NYU, and earned a juris doctorate degree from Georgetown University in 1991. After working within the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, she then served as the in-house counsel for a global media and shipping concern in Greece, until 2002. Supporting Greek students interested in studying abroad led to a new calling, that of college counselor. She has been supporting Callista Crafts since the early days, and was instrumental in their branching out to the USA.
