THE VISION TO CREATE AN ELEGANT AND VERSATILE HANDBAG TO EMPOWER THE MODERN WOMAN HAS LED TO A SUCCESS STORY INSPIRED BY FEMININITY, SIMPLICITY AND NATURE, FOCUSING ON EXQUISITE CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

Future Heritage

Following the Greek economic crisis, Celia Sigalou and Eleni Konstantinidou co-founded Callista Crafts in 2013 with the determination to build a family-run brand that values artisan craftsmanship through modern design. Their goal was to create an enduring product that would be both adaptable and at the same time always true to its core values, producing ethical designs unaffected by seasonality and trends, encapsulating pure elegance and exceptional quality.

Handcrafted in the brand’s Athens atelier by a skilled team of women artisans exploring age-old, traditional techniques of fine craftsmanship, every Callista Crafts item reflects Greece’s rich cultural heritage. The finest leather is cut and put together by hand. The top handle is adorned by a leather cord, hand-knotted around its length, an art demanding attention to detail, special skills, and patience. Each piece is embellished with over three hours’ work of signature hand stitching and weaved details, a highly demanding procedure that requires impeccable expertise. Characterized by these details that add an air of eclectic uniqueness, any Callista bag instantly becomes an easily recognizable staple. Looking to the future, the brand aims to inspire both their community and customers to build new memories through a contemporary heritage.
